Norwegian Adds Seattle & Denver to U.S. Network with Nonstop Flights to London

NEW YORK – APRIL 5, 2017 – Norwegian, the low-cost long-haul airline today announced it will launch flights from both Denver International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to London’s Gatwick Airport this September. With these additions, Norwegian now offers nine nonstop routes from across the United States to London, more than any American airline.

Launch fares in Economy to London from both Denver and Seattle start as low as $199 one-way, including taxes. All fares are now available for sale at Norwegian.com/us. Additionally, the website’s low fare calendar displays the lowest available fares to all of Norwegian’s destinations.

The lowest fares in Norwegian’s Premium Cabin to London from both Denver and Seattle start at $839 one-way including taxes. Premium service includes a dedicated check-in counter, additional luggage allowance, fast track security, lounge access, priority boarding, sleeper seats, all meals and drinks.

Service from Denver to London will launch on September 16, with twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the summer season. Service will increase to three times per week, adding Thursdays, beginning November 2 during the popular winter season.

Service from Seattle to London will launch on September 17, with four flights per week on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays.

“Norwegian’s choice to serve Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is a testament to our region’s economic growth,” said Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Operations Director Michael Ehl. “Sea-Tac’s total passenger volume has grown 40 percent in just five years, and Norwegian’s Boeing 787-9 service will provide more options to travelers, as well as promote tourism and trade in the region.”

Overall, Norwegian now offers 48 transatlantic flights from 13 U.S. airports to Denmark, France, Ireland, Norway,Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, as well seven routes to the French Caribbean, totaling 55 routes out of the United States. Upcoming 2017 launches from the U.S. include: Los Angeles to Barcelona (June 5); New York/Newark to Barcelona (June 6); Oakland/San Francisco to Barcelona (June 7); Newburgh/Stewart to Edinburgh (June 15); Providence to Edinburgh (June 15), Hartford to Edinburgh (June 17); Newburgh/Stewart to Belfast (July 1); Newburgh/Stewart to Dublin (July 1); Providence to Belfast (July 1); Providence to Bergen (July 1); Providence to Cork (July 1); Newburgh/Stewart to Bergen (July 2); Newburgh/Stewart to Shannon (July 2); Providence to Dublin (July 2); Providence to Shannon (July 3); Orlando to Paris (July 31); Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona (August 22); Denver to London (September 16) and Seattle to London (September 17). Passengers on all of Norwegian’s routes are eligible to join Norwegian Reward, the airline’s frequent flyer program and can earn CashPoints every time they fly, stay at a hotel or drive a rental car.

Norwegian operates one of the world’s youngest fleets comprised of brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliners. All long-haul flights include both a Premium and an Economy cabin.
