Los Angeles, CA, April 7, 2018: A Utah teacher won the vacation of a lifetime on a recent episode of the long-running T.V. Daytime Game Show, The Price is Right. The show, hosted a special Teacher Appreciation Day episode broadcast on April 7, 2018 (Though the actual taping date was March 4, 2018)
Uriah Hernalsteen, a 5th Grade Teacher at Coral Canyon Elementary School in Washington, Utah made it to the final showcase and came closest to guessing the actual retail price of his showcase, and won. In addition to a new car and other prizes, the teacher won a 7-day Greek Cruise compliments of Celestyal Cruises.
It’s not just any 7-day cruise that the ecstatic teacher won, he won Celestyal’s 7-Day Idyllic Aegean Cruise aboard the Celestyal Crystal. The round-trip itinerary begins in Athens (Piraeus), with calls at Mykonos, Milos (Island where the Venus de Milo was discovered.) Santorini, Heraklion, and Kusadasi, Turkey (Port for the archeological marvel Ephesus).
This itinerary includes two overnight port calls, in Mykonos and Santorini, Celestyal Cruises is the only cruise line which provides regular overnight port calls to these islands, famous for their nightlife.
There is no word on when the lucky 5th grade teacher will be embarking on his Aegean odyssey. As of publication, e-mails to Mr. Hernalsteen asking for comments have not been returned.
