Holland America Line’s 2026 Canada & New England Season Features More Cruises, More Ports & Added Overnights

Seattle, WA., Oct 15, 2024 Holland America Line has unveiled ambitious plans to enhance its Canada and New England cruise season in 2026. With additional itineraries, expanded ports of call, and extended overnight stays, the season promises to offer guests an enriched exploration of these storied regions. A standout offering is the new 28-day “Canada, New England, and Iceland” Legendary Voyage, departing from Boston and traversing three remarkable destinations.

From April through October, Holland America’s Zuiderdam and Volendam will sail a variety of seven-day itineraries, either roundtrip from Boston or between Boston and the Canadian cities of Montreal or Québec City. The Volendam will also offer 10- and 11-day sailings, delving deeper into the Maritimes and featuring stops in Newfoundland and New France.

A Legendary Journey

On June 20, 2026, the Volendam embarks on the 28-day “Canada, New England, and Iceland” Legendary Voyage, a roundtrip from Boston. Guests will visit ports like Portland, Maine, and Sydney, Nova Scotia, before sailing to seven Icelandic destinations. Highlights include overnight stays in Reykjavik, Iceland; St. John’s, Newfoundland; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The journey concludes with additional stops in Atlantic Canada.

“Our Canada and New England cruises highlight culturally rich destinations, picturesque landscapes, and vibrant fall foliage,” said Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer for Holland America Line. “We’re especially thrilled to offer Iceland as part of this exploration, giving guests the chance to experience stunning late sunsets and white nights during an overnight in Reykjavik.”
