Holland America Unveils Stunning Stateroom Décor for Birthdays & Anniversaries

Guests can create unforgettable moments with collection of stateroom celebration options

Seattle, WA., Sep 17, 2024 – Holland America Line is introducing enhanced stateroom décor packages designed to elevate celebrations of life’s cherished milestones, including birthdays and anniversaries. Guests can pre-purchase these packages and have them ready in their staterooms upon embarkation. Friends and family may also order the packages as surprise gifts for their loved ones onboard. 

The celebration packages, available fleetwide by December 2024, include festive decorations and exclusive keepsakes. Two tiers are offered: a standard package for $54.95 and a deluxe package for $79.95. Both include a door magnet, magnetic ceiling banners, and a lanyard, while the deluxe option adds a “Time to Celebrate” blanket. 

“So many of our guests choose to cruise to celebrate a special milestone, and these upgraded décor packages are a great way to enhance their at-sea experiences and create cherished memories,” said Carole Biencourt, vice president of guest commerce at Holland America Line. “With a variety of birthday and anniversary package options, we hope our guests will celebrate in style.” 

Guests can further personalize their celebrations with optional add-ons, such as gourmet birthday cakes, spa treatments, and indulgent food and beverage offerings, including champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.

 Expanding the Celebration Horizon 

Holland America Line’s offerings will extend beyond birthdays and anniversaries. The cruise line plans to roll out décor packages tailored for winter holidays, bon voyage parties, Alaskan adventures, and themed experiences featuring its mascot, Lewie the Lion.
