MSC Cruises to Resume Cruising from US Ports This Summer

MSC Cruises is announcing today its restart plans for cruising from U.S. ports beginning this August on two ships. Ships will sail from PortMiami and Port Canaveral as well as the provisional approval of its request to conduct a simulation cruise, to be held on MSC Meraviglia from PortMiami on July 17, 2021.

Carnival Cruise Lines Set for July Restart

Carnival Cruise Line today confirmed its plans to return to guest operations from Port of Galveston on July 3 with Carnival Vista, followed by the return of operations on Carnival Breeze on July 15.

Holland America Extends Cruise Pause to Include All Departures Through March 31, 2021, as it Prepares for CDC Requirements to Resume Cruising

As Holland America Line continues to prepare and develop its plans to meet the Framework for Conditional Sailing Order issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the company is extending its pause of cruise operations for all departures through March 31, 2021.

Holland America will Protect Travel Advisor Commissions on Cancelled Cruises

Holland America promised to protect Travel Advisor commissions stating, “Recognizing the vital role travel advisors play in the success of the cruise industry, Holland America Line will protect travel advisor commissions on bookings for cancelled cruises that were paid in full and for the total amount of the Future Cruise Credits when guests rebook.”
